State some differences between the two pictures

to7fa, you have to be more specific, what did you not like about the trip?????, is it the destinations that we went to??, the preparation of the trip????, the people who accomanied u??? :),well!!! i think the dissappointmnet came first form our first stop where we expected to see a a good example in the Misr University for science and technology, but still, i like to look at the good side, we have to see things ourselves even if we didn't agree with it, it gives u a whole different experience than reading it in a book.second stop, el Harranya,well the second dissapointment came because the place was almost empty and it was their vacation day, BUT we got to see the museum, and the beautifull carpet weaving, the pottery museum of nabil darwish inaddition to BAdee3 gorgy museum that had the aghakhan award. the third stop, we visited the ceramic center in the fustat and i think we have a nice tour and it is a subject we can discuss it in a seperate session. last stop was the Sehimy house, which for me it was the first time visit and i reall was happy to visit this beautifull house and it should have added to all of us the reall experience of environmental design. Finally i have to admit that i was soooooo happy to get closer to all of you and to share together this nice experience and am looking forward to other trips with all of u guys :), TO7FA, may be u should have eaten the hamam el ma7shy, it would have changed your idea about the trip;)

المبنى: مباني جامعه مصر للعلوم و االتكنولوجيا.
المصمم: د.أحمد عابدين. أستاذ العمارة جامعه القاهرة.
المكان: مدينه 6 أكتوبر, القاهرة. جمهورية مصر العربية.
مساحه المشروع: 34.35 فدان.
الفكرة البيئية للمشروع : تم تخطيط المشروع ليحقق التكامل مع البيئة المحيطة, و يشكل منظومة بيئية تحقق الاتزان بين معطيات الموقع و الاحتياجات النفعية.

من الأفكار البيئية التي تم مراعاتها في هذا المشروع في المجالات الأتيه:
المعالجات الحرارية:
تم تصميم الغلاف الخارجي للمباني كوحدات فاصله حراريا بين البيئة الخارجية و الداخلية.
تم معالجه الفتحات باستخدام كاسرات الشمس الرأسية والأفقية.
تم استخدام أسلوب الفتحات الغائرة في الغلاف الخارجي مع تباين نسب و تشكيل الفتحات في الواجهات المختلفة تبعا لتوجيهاتها, مما يوفر حماية الأسطح الخارجية من الحمل الحراري الزائد.
وتم استخدام الأفنية المتباينة في النسب والعمق داخل المباني.
التهوية الطبيعية:
تم استخدام الملاقف الهوائية موزعه على أركان الأفنية الداخلية.
تم استخدام الشراعات و الفتحات على الممرات و الأفنية في الحيزات الداخلية بحيث تسمح بمرور الهواء من الملاقف و إلى الأفنية.
تم استخدام السقف كواجهة إضافية لأضاءه و تهويه المباني.
تم استخدام نظام الأفنية المكونة من مجموعات من الأفنية المتباينه النسب و العمق , و تركيز الفتحات للفراغات المعمارية على هذه الأفنية.
الأضاءه الطبيعية:
تم تصميم الكتلة بحيث تكون مرتدة لمسافة 40 مترا عن حد البناء ليشكل فراغ المدخل الرئيسي.
تم أضاءه الأفنية الداخلية عن طريق قباب من الزجاج و الحديد.
تم ميل سطح كتله المكتبة و تزويده بأضاءه علوية من الأهرامات الخرسانية للحصول على أقصى أضاءه طبيعية ممكنه داخل قاعات القراءة و باقي فراغات المبنى.
أمثله:
مبنى المراكز البحثية:
تم توجيه المبنى إلى اتجاه الشمال حيث التهوية الطبيعية بعيدا عن أشعه الشمس المباشرة.
تم مراعاة توزيع الفتحات في الغلاف الخارجي بحيث تزيد نسبه الفتحات في الواجهة الشمالية بمقدار نصف عن الفتحات في الواجهة الجنوبية.
تم وضع عناصر المبنى حول فناء داخلي مغطى بسقف من الأهرامات الزجاجية ذات التوجيه الشمالي و ذلك للحصول على أقصى أضاءه طبيعية مع حجب أشعه الشمس المباشرة, بحيث يعمل كقلب بارد ملطف للمبنى.
تم تحقيق التهوية الطبيعية لفراغات المبنى عن طريق 4 ملاقف رئيسيه موزعه على أركان الفناء الداخلي و ذلك بمعدل ملقف لمساحه تكافىء ربع مساحه المبنى, و قد تم توجيه الملقف لاتجاه الشمال لمواجه الرياح الشمالية و تجنب الرياح المتربة الجنوبية و الرياح الباردة الغربية.
مبنى المكتبة:
فقد تم تهويه المداخلين الخاصين بالمكتبة عن طريق القبب العلوية الزجاجية متدرجة الارتفاع.
تم تزويد صالة المدخل بفناء داخلي مغطى لتوفير الأضاءه الطبيعية.
تم وضع مخازن الكتب في صالات القراءة في جنوب المبنى و ذلك حتى تعمل كمنطقه عازله للمبنى من الإشعاع الشمسي.
تم وضع تصميم مبنى المكتبة بحيث تحصل على أقصى قدر من الأضاءه الطبيعية عن طريق السقف المائل الضخم للمبنى ,الذي يحتوى على عناصر الأضاءه العلوية من الأهرامات الخرسانية المزودة بالزجاج الموجه للشمال.
